Gas Collecting Device (DCG)

The Gas Collecting Device is designed to collect a sample of gas from the transformer for analysis, gases which are formed during the transformer’s normal operation.
It enables the collecting of these samples at ground level without the need to handle the Buchholz Relay to which it is connected.
It also enables the collecting of oil samples from the transformer for analysis and also allows the insertion of N2 or any other gas under pressure in order to test the operation of the Buchholz Relay.
