grounding box (g-box)
The grounding box is an accessory designed to allow the electrical connection among the internal elements of a transformer and the external elements. It can be used either in oil-isolated transformers or gas-isolated transformers (SF6) or yet in dry transformers.
It is built with solid corrosion-resistant aluminum with feed through terminal bushings that are assembled in such a manner as not to allow any leakage of the insulating oil and to ensure the tightness of the unit.
Due to its design it offers broad internal space and outstanding numbers identifying bornes on both sides making assembly procedures easier. It might be supplied with up to three outlets for conduits fittings or cable gland connections, according to costumer’s needs
